The more we repeat a thought the more hardwired it becomes in our brain
The beginning always takes place in the imagination. When we mentally rehearse what we want we acquire a kind of memory of a successful action and at the same time program our subconscious mind with the outcome we are thinking about. We start and visualise the outcome, i.e. the movie in our heads - great if positive - not so good if negative. Then we may change our minds and behaviour depending on the movie we have created. Sound familiar?
Repeated actions become habits and overtime your body learns how to take control without involving the mind - over eat, increase our consumption of cigarettes, alcohol or drugs, etc.

So, how do we learn to be happier, healthier and become less stressful? In order to eliminate a condition, we must first dissolve the mental cause(s). New NHS figures released on the 29th March 2019 reveal 70 million prescriptions have been prescribed for anxiety and depression (doubled in 10 years) and 1 in 5 people suffer work related stress.
But it doesn’t have to be this way:
It is much easier to release negative thinking patterns when we are healthy before our body controls us - the emotional, physical and biological aspects of ourselves.

My key motivation is the belief that once people understand their empowering or disempowering behaviours, beliefs, emotions and motivations, they become aware of how to make a positive change, not only within themselves, but also how they think and feel about other people and, or the present situation they find themselves having gained a fresh perspective.
